About the Conference
The International Public Library Fundraising Conference (IPLFC) is for public library development professionals. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get together to explore common areas of interest, network with others who successfully raise money for their libraries and hear from other fundraising experts.
Each conference offers an information-packed agenda with sessions that covered important fundraising topics, such as effective direct mail and digital fundraising strategies, proper messaging in today’s political climate, how to turn fundraising challenges into successes, engaging your board, #LibraryGivingDay, and much more.
Co-founded by The Seattle Public Library Foundation and Carl Bloom Associates, the first conference was held in Seattle, Washington in 2017. Subsequent conferences have been held in Denver, Colorado – 2018 and Calgary, Alberta, Canada – 2019. And now the 2020 conference will be held at the Austin Central Library!

Each organization can register a maximum of three people for the conference.

The hotel is located just one mile from the Austin Central Library. The rate is $179/night.

Yes, there is a non-refundable registration fee of $75 per registrant, plus processing fees. Payment is due upon registration by credit card only. The non-refundable registration fee will be required to reserve a spot.
Fees will go towards operating expenses such as meals, refreshments, and the various conference materials needed for a growing number of attendees. Due to cost constraints in prior years, attendance had been capped, which resulted in having to turn away library peers looking to learn, share, and network. This fee helps to increase the number of libraries able to attend.

You will be able to inform us of any dietary restrictions during the registration process.
There will be a very detailed schedule provided in the coming months where you can pick and choose the sessions you’d like to attend.
For travel, plan to arrive Sunday, June 14 in the early afternoon, and depart the afternoon of Tuesday, June 16.

Over 150 library fundraising professionals from all over North America joined us this past July in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at The Calgary Central Library.
