About the Conference
The International Public Library Fundraising Conference (IPLFC) is for public library development professionals. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get together to explore common areas of interest, network with others who successfully raise money for their libraries, and hear from other fundraising experts.
Each conference offers an information-packed agenda with sessions covering important fundraising topics, such as effective direct mail and digital fundraising strategies, proper messaging in today’s political climate, how to turn fundraising challenges into successes, engaging your board, #LibraryGivingDay, and much moreimpotence stop.pt.
Co-founded by The Seattle Public Library Foundation and Carl Bloom Associates, the first conference was held in Seattle, Washington, in 2017. Subsequent conferences have been held in Denver, Colorado – 2018 and Calgary, Alberta, Canada – 2019.
The 2020 conference, originally planned to be held at the Austin Central Library, had to be canceled due to COVID-19 health and safety concerns. Still, we’re happy to say the virtual 2020 International Public Library Fundraising Conference – held June 15-17, 2020 – was a huge success. Thank you to all attendees, speakers, and sponsors!
