The International Public Library Fundraising Conference (IPLFC) is for public library development professionals. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get together to explore common areas of interest, network with others who successfully raise money for their libraries, and hear from other fundraising experts.

Each conference offers an information-packed agenda with sessions covering important fundraising topics, such as effective direct mail and digital fundraising strategies, proper messaging in today’s political and social climate, how to turn fundraising challenges into successes, engaging your board, #LibraryGivingDay, and much moreimpotence

Co-founded by The Seattle Public Library Foundation and Carl Bloom Associates, the first conference was held in Seattle, Washington, in 2017. Subsequent conferences have been held in Denver, Colorado – 2018 and Calgary, Alberta, Canada – 2019.

The 2020 conference, originally planned to be held at the Austin Central Library, was canceled due to COVID-19 health and safety concerns. However, we were able to pivot to a virtual format, which resulted in an even larger number of attendees in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

For 2023, we’re excited to go back to in-person at Austin Central Library, June 11-13. We look forward to welcoming you.

Monday, June 12:

Conference registration:
Registration costs $240 per person (plus processing fee.) The cost covers meals, snacks, beverages, a reception, plus all the informative and engaging sessions that IPLFC is known for. In addition, you’ll have access to the Whova app, which puts the full schedule, location of sessions, and the all-important ability to network with fellow library development professionals and IPLFC sponsors in the palm of your hand.

Scholarship opportunities:
We understand that attending a conference is a significant expense, so we’re proud to offer ten half-price registration scholarships to those who need financial assistance. If you cannot attend due to financial constraints, click here to submit an inquiry.
