Join us in Washington, DC!
June 9-11, 2024 at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library
The International Public Library Fundraising Conference (IPLFC) is for public library development professionals. It’s a fantastic opportunity to explore common areas of interest, network with others who successfully raise money for their libraries, and hear from other fundraising experts.
Each conference offers an information-packed agenda with sessions covering important fundraising topics, such as effective direct mail and digital fundraising strategies, proper messaging in today’s political and social climate, how to turn fundraising challenges into successes, engaging your board, #LibraryGivingDay, and much moreimpotence stop.pt.
Co-founded by The Seattle Public Library Foundation and Carl Bloom Associates, the first conference was held in Seattle, Washington, in 2017. Subsequent conferences have been held in Denver, Colorado – 2018 and Calgary, Alberta, Canada – 2019.
The 2020 conference, originally planned at the Austin Central Library, was canceled due to COVID-19 health and safety concerns. However, we were able to pivot to a virtual format, which resulted in an even more significant number of attendees in 2020, 2021, and 2022. In 2023, we made a triumphant return to the in-person format, and now we’re pleased to announce that in 2024, IPLFC will be held in Washington, DC, at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, June 9-11.
We look forward to welcoming you.
